The ERDI Automobile Subsurface Extraction (ASE) course is a specialized, two-day program designed for public safety divers and non-diving command officers. This isn’t your typical dive training; it focuses on the unique challenges and techniques required to safely and quickly remove vehicles and other heavy objects from underwater.

This course provides real-world experience. You’ll work with a full-size automobile, learning:

• Rigging Techniques: Master the skills to properly rig vehicles and heavy objects for underwater recovery.
• Remote Lifting Techniques: Learn how to safely lift submerged objects using specialized equipment and procedures.
• Scene Assessment and Management: Develop the skills to assess an underwater recovery scene and coordinate a safe and effective operation.
